Usability Evaluation of Web-based Training Tools under WHO Family of International Classifications (WHO-FIC)

Introduction: Various training methods such as web-based tools have been developed to achieve the potential benefits of classification systems by World Health Organization (WHO). Given that users these different levels capability, usability problems could reduce speed and accuracy learning among interacting with tools. This study aims identify under WHO family international classifications (WHO-FIC).Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, ten trained evaluators independently examined WHO-FIC using heuristic evaluation method. The identified were classified into 10 Nielsen’s heuristics. Then, their average severity was calculated.Results: total, 40 after merging eliminating duplicates. highest number related ICD-10 tool (n=20). heuristics aesthetic minimalist design (25.0%), user control freedom (17.5%). Heuristics flexibility efficiency use helping recognize, diagnose recover from errors had problems.Conclusion: Violating design, recognition rather than recall most common Evaluators reported half interface major catastrophe type. Solving lead ease work, increased acceptance users.
